Packed full of FUN!

It never seems to fail, but all our weekends in December are busy from sun up to sun down.  The first Saturday Steve and I were in Kansas.  The second Saturday we had our Call family Christmas party.  Then this past Saturday we started our day off with our ward Christmas breakfast and program.  Savanna was chosen to play Mary in the little program that was done.  She didn't have to say anything, just hold her baby and listen to the story of the birth of our Savior.  She did such a great job!  For just over 5 minutes she was the only person on the stage.  This picture was taken from our flip camera, I'm so proud of Savanna for the wonderful job that she did.
After the party, we headed down to Salt Lake so that the girls could join their cousins at Gramma Mary's house for the annual "decorate cookies with Gramma" day.  Steve's mom is so wonderful to do this every year.  She has all the grandkids come to her house, no parents allowed, to cut out and decorate christmas cookies.  She has her cute little neighbor Sammy come over and help with all the kids.  This gives them time with their cousins and with gramma.  As for us parents, we get to go finish our shopping if needed or whatever we'd like.  This year Steve and I went and spent some time at Best Buy looking for the rest of Savanna's present.  Found what we wanted just didn't like the price so we didn't get it.  After Best Buy we then headed over to Sport Clips so Steve could get a hair cut.  When we were done there it was time to go pick up the girls.  Savanna made some fun cookies, Paige obviously had fun, she had frosting in her hair and on her clothes.  After Gramma's house, we headed out to South Jordan to our friends Das and Sue's house.  They just had a baby the begining of December and we wanted to go meet the little guy.  Savanna had fun getting to play with Tristan and Ashton while we visited.  Thanks for letting us come hang out guys!  Dinner was next, you can't go wrong with Chick-fil-A.  I love that Paige enjoys their lemonade just as much as her mommy does.  After a quick bite to eat we headed back towards downtown SLC.  We wanted to take the girls to see the lights at Temple Square.  It was crazy with people, but the lights were beautiful.  Savanna really enjoyed them and kept pulling us in different directions to make sure she saw them all.  We even rode trax to which made our oldest smile from ear to ear.  After the lights we headed home, arriving right at bedtime.  It was a busy day, but such a fun one to spend with family and friends.
