Just about two weeks ago, Paige was holding her tummy and grunting.  I asked her if she was going "stinky" to which she replied she was.  I asked her if she wanted to go sit on the big girl potty and she ran to the bathroom.  I took off her diaper and placed her up on the seat and told her to push.  She grunted and grunted and then out came the poopers.  She was so excited to be like her sister and use the potty.  I thought maybe this was just going to be a fluke thing, but nope.  She has sat on the big girl potty at least once every day, some times we have success other times it is just her full of smiles.  Well since I was getting tired of having to hold her on the potty, I went and bought her two different pottys to use.  One is in our basement bathroom and the other is in the bathroom she shares with Savanna.  We have had fun watching her run to the bathroom and wanting to sit like a big girl.  She has pooped 8 or 9 times and has pee'd 2 times so far.  If I remember right, trying to get a child to poop in the potty is one of the hardest things during potty training, but I think Paige will have no problem with that one.  I am in no way ready to start potty training since she is only 19 months, but if she wants to use the potty, I am definately going to let her.  Maybe she will be my child to train herself and I won't have to bribe her to use the potty like we did her older sister.  Keep your fingers crossed that we continue with potty success!
