Daddy Daughter Date Night

It has become a little tradition in our house that Savanna gets to go to a Jazz game with her daddy around her birthday.  She looks forward to getting that alone time with her dad and enjoying some good basketball as well.  My little sister Celeste works with one of the Jazz Dancers and we arranged for her to deliver a treat to Savanna during the game.  I ran a bag of skittles to Brindee at work while Savanna was at school.  When Savanna got home she was super excited to go to the game.  When Steve got home they put their Jazz gear on and headed out the door.  Steve told me that they rocked out in the car to some Taylor Swift as they drove from our house to dinner at the Olive Garden.  I'm pretty sure they probably rocked all the way to the game too.  But that is when the night turned a little sour.  Savanna started getting a tummy ache and was crying that she wanted to go home.  She did seem to cheer up a little when her surprise arrived.  THANKS Brindee for making her night a little more fun!  Well anyways, this daddy daughter date ended a little earlier than it would have liked to.  Steve and Savanna left the game at half time and made it home to watch the end of the game on tv.  Here are a couple of pictures that capture their night together.
