Ice Skating
For the past couple of months Savanna has been begging us to take her ice skating. It has been a challenge because of the open skate time at the Ice Sheet and Steve being out of town. Well today her wish was granted and we loaded the family into the car and went across town. Steve and I took turns with Savanna out on the ice, while the other sat with Paige. One of the times that I was out with Savanna, I looked across the ice and saw Steve and Paige coming towards us. Steve had put Paige (with her regular boots on) down on the ice between his legs and she was having such a fun time feeling like a big girl. She would get mad when we would leave her off the ice. Savanna can't wait to get to go again, she had fun and no one fell on our behinds.
Steve and I met in December of 1997 while at the Missionary Training Center in Provo UT. We communicated through letters for two years and upon Steve's return home we began dating off and on. In September 2002 we began dating exclusively. By March 2003 we were engaged and later married in the Mt. Timpanoges Temple in July of 2003. We have two amazing and beautiful daughters Savanna and Paige and a handsome son Barrett. I have the opportunity to stay at home with them and watch them grow and develop their personalities. We are blessed to once again be around our family, but we miss all the wonderful friends we made over the 2 1/2 years we were in Washington.

There's just something magical about ice skating! I'm glad Paige was able to get out there too.
