Can Christmas Come Again Tomorrow?

Savanna had such a great Christmas. She woke up nice and early and was excited to see that Santa had been to Grandma's house. I think she was more relieved that Santa found her and used the key she left for him to be able to get in the house, since there isn't a chimney. Savanna was like most little kids, ripping open presents and jumping with excitement at each one. I think that her favorite one of the morning though was when she got to open the present from Grandma and Granpa Call, it was Snow White dress up shoes. Grandma then went upstairs and came down with the most beautiful Snow White dress that she had made. The jammies couldn't come off fast enough to get into it. She wore it for the rest of the time that we were at the house. She didn't want to leave when it was time to go to our next Grandma's house, but we told her that there would be more presents with her name on it. So she put on a smile and some regular clothes and off we headed to Grandma Meyers' house. We were greeted at the door by cute little Raquel, who was very excited to see Savanna. They have made such a wonderful bond with each other, and they love to play together. After everyone arrived the kids dove into the presents and didn't come up for air until all had been opened. We then ate a yummy brunch and the kids played while the adults chatted. Then once again it was time to pack everything up and head to our next location for the day. Since Pa's electricity was out, he was going to meet us out at Rick and Ambur's house, so that is where we headed. When we got there, Rick and Caden were out clearing the 24 inches off their driveway that had blown and fallen overnight. It was blowing still and oh so cold. Savanna loved all the presents that she got from Grandma Meyers, her cousins, and from Pa. After hanging out at Rick's for a couple of hours, we loaded up once again to head for home. Once we got home, Grandma Call and Aunt Celeste had made some delicious food for us to eat and munch on while we played games for the rest of the evening. And of course, Savanna changed immediately back into her Snow White dress. Before Savanna went to bed, she asked me "Can Christmas come again tomorrow?" As a family we had a wonderful Christmas, and as a parent getting to see the excitement in your childs eyes as each present is opened is the most priceless gift ever given. We hope all of our family and friends had a wonderful and safe Christmas as well. We love you all!!!
