Call Family Christmas Party
Yesterday we had the Call Family Christmas Party at Grandma and Grandpa's house. We started in the late morning hours and it went all day into the late evening hours. We were instructed to wear our jammies and come prepared for lots of fun. The cousins did have fun getting exchange their gifts and then getting to do some craft projects. We made foamie gingerbread houses for each family and then a big one for Grandma to keep at her house. I don't know who worked more on the houses though, the kids or the parents. I am pretty sure that the adults were the ones at the table forever. The kids also got to decorate their own little stocking to hang on their doors when they got home. We ate yummy food, and watched Polar Express before the tv was taken over by the men for basketball games and football games. I think everyone was good and tired by the end of the night, but it was a wonderful day spent with family. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for the fun party!
Steve and I met in December of 1997 while at the Missionary Training Center in Provo UT. We communicated through letters for two years and upon Steve's return home we began dating off and on. In September 2002 we began dating exclusively. By March 2003 we were engaged and later married in the Mt. Timpanoges Temple in July of 2003. We have two amazing and beautiful daughters Savanna and Paige and a handsome son Barrett. I have the opportunity to stay at home with them and watch them grow and develop their personalities. We are blessed to once again be around our family, but we miss all the wonderful friends we made over the 2 1/2 years we were in Washington.
