Goodbye Washington, Hello Utah

This past week has been one of many emotions. Monday and Tuesday we had the movers at our place packing everything up and loading it all on the truck. Savanna did really well with all of it until they wanted to package up the TV. Needless to say, she shed some of the biggest crocodile tears, but was okay when we told her that grandma had a tv for her to watch in her bedroom. Steve headed for Utah on Monday to work all week, so Savanna and I dealt with everything in Washington. We had fun spending time in a hotel. After two days of cleaning the house, time spent playing with friends, we were sad to have to say goodbye. Steve flew in on Friday night, we finished what we needed to at the house and then headed to our hotel for our last night. Saturday morning we were up bright and early (4:00am), at the house we packed up all of our stuff into the durango and the boat, and said our last goodbye to our home.

The weather was not fun at all through Washington and some of Oregon, we kept telling Savanna that Washington was sad to see her leaving. We made a few stops along the way to stretch and to fuel up the car, and of course to use the potty. Savanna loved watching her movies and eatting snacks. We did happen to hit a little more rain in Idaho, but we can't complain, it could have been worse. We were all tired when we arrived in Ogden at 11:00pm but we made it safe, and we look forward to seeing what adventures we in have while back in Utah.
