SHHHHHHHHHHH

That is what we were all about this past week.  My mom, my brother-in-law Rhees and I planned a surprise birthday party for my little sister Celeste.  She was celebrating the big 25 on Saturday September 3rd.  So we held the party on Friday night.  We contacted some of Celeste's friends and all the family to come and join us for a party on her behalf.  Mom hid all the non perishable food in her bedroom so Celeste couldn't see it if she dropped by.  I made the cake and had it in my extra fridge outside so she wouldn't find it as well.  On Friday, Celeste happened to be off work all day so we had to keep her busy.  We decided to go shopping to keep her out of houses.  Rhees told her to dress nice when out shopping so that she would feel good, she thought he was crazy but little did she know the real reason.  After shopping for several hours, I needed to get home to greet my 1st grader as she got off the bus.  Celeste ran mom home (she had a meeting to go to) and then Celeste headed back over to my house for a couple of hours until Rhees got off work.  I had to leave to go meet some friends that were also deer hunter widows for dinner (aka running to get ice and then to the party).  Rhees did a great job of stalling to get to moms house.  All the kids were so excited to get to jump out and yell SURPRISE.  We then enjoyed a nice dinner of hamburgers and hot dogs, yummy salads and of course my delish sock monkey cake.  A special thanks to all the family and friends that came and helped us give Celeste a great party!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY LESTE!  WE LOVE YOU!!!
