Friday night watching the weather Steve got excited that yesterday was going to be such a nice day. So we took advantage of the big yellow circle in the sky and headed to East Canyon resevoir to do a little fishing. Savanna could hardly wait to get her pole into the water and I have to say, she's got a great casting arm to get the line out there. Steve got the other two poles baited up and we were in business to catch some fish. Our first bite came about 20 minutes after arriving and Savanna reeled it in. She wouldn't hold the fish, and Paige showed interest in it until the slippery bugger fell out of Steve's hand, then she wouldn't even go close to it. We returned our little friend to it's happy home in the water and began the waiting game once again. Our second bite came a while later and this one really ate the hook, we were not able to send it back into the water, but we did give it to a nice family that was down the shore from us fishing. Here are a few pictures taken on Steve's phone to capture our family outing fun.
