This post is dedicated to the newest member of our family. My older sister Carol and her husband Andy welcomed a beautiful little boy into the world. Kendru Max Reid entered our family early on the morning of December 26th. He weighed 5 lbs 13 oz and was 18 inches long. Savanna has been so excited to get to meet him, but had to wait a few weeks because little Kendru was 5 weeks early and had to spend some time in the NICU. We would received daily pictures from Aunt Carol which the girls loved to see. Well with yesterday being Martin Luther King Jr day and Savanna being out of school I loaded the girls up in the car and we headed down to meet this cute baby boy. I think Savanna ran into the house and immediately got her hands sanatized so that she could hold her new cousin. She did such a great job and loved every minute of him. She actually held him for so long that her arm fell asleep. Paige on the other hand didn't get too close to Kendru. I think she is still trying to figure him out. She had more fun playing with all of his toys, especially his pilot bear. We are glad that he is here and that he and Aunt Carol are doing much better.
