What do you get with a......

night filled with carving pumpkins?  Happy children.   What do you get with a night filled with costumes, candy, and friends?  More happy children.  Halloween this year has been fun to experience with both of our girls.  Savanna insisted that we carve pumpkins, even though I was completely satisfied with just having pumpkins sitting outside.  So on Thursday night we covered the table and Steve and the girls had fun.  Saturday was the perfect Halloween weather, we had the clouds and the sprinkle of water coming from the sky.  It wasn't too cold or too wet to get out with the neighborhood kids and trick or treat.  Savanna was such a big helper too, she took Paige's bag to each door to make sure that her sister got candy too.  I think she just didn't want to have to share hers with Paige.  Anyways, we had a beautiful Charlotte La Bouff from Disney's "The Princess and the Frog" movie.  We also had an absolutely adorable waddling duck. (mom is glad to be done sewing costumes)  Halloween definately was a holiday made more for the kiddos, but it is so much fun to watch their little faces as they get treats from each house.  We hope that you all had a wonderful Halloween!
