Boys, Boys, Boys

What happens when you get 5 or 6 of your buddies together for some good times?  Weekends that consist of baseball, football and more football.  The last weekend in September Steve and several of his friends took a roadtrip to Phoenix AZ.  After leaving Utah, they stopped in Las Vegas for a night before heading down to Phoenix.  Friday night they hit up a Diamondback/Dodger game, Saturday was the Sun Devils/Ducks game, then on Sunday they caught the Cardinals/Raiders game.

Fast forward one month, this past weekend was the annual deer hunting trip.  Steve headed to the mountains on Thursday morning to set up camp and to do a little scouting for the perfect deer.  His dad joined him on Friday morning, then Rick and Bob joined the crowd on Saturday night.  I guess on Sunday Steve and Bob found a deer, but neither of them could get the shot off before it was gone.  More hunting was done on Monday, but no success.  Steve came home Monday evening, but then headed back to the mountains yesterday morning early.  He called at about 3:30 saying he was on his way home.  I asked if he had any succes to which he replied "yes".  It wasn't a big deer like he would have liked to of gotten, but it was still a deer.  No matter the size, it will still put some meat in the freezer this year.  The girls liked seeing the deer, but Savanna wouldn't go near it because it had blood on it.  Enjoy the collage of pictures from my guy's adventures over the past two months.
