With all the crappy weather that we've had lately, Steve decided it was time to load up the family and head to the sunshine. We left town Friday afternoon for St George. With a pit stop for dinner in Nephi we spent our evening in the car. Luckily for us our kids did great and we didn't have to stop tons for bathroom breaks. We rolled into town about 9:30, got the car unloaded and Barrett fed. I ran to the store for a few groceries and then it was back to the house to hangout with my little fam until way too late. Saturday the girls forgot that we were on vacation and woke up before dawn. We enjoyed french toast for breakfast and then Steve headed out to go shoot his guns at a nice gun range. The kids and I hung out at the house and enjoyed the sunshine. Once Steve got back, we got ready to hit up a swimming pool that we frequent when in town. The water was a little chilly, but the girls had fun splashing their dad. Barrett even enjoyed dangling his piggies in the water. After swimming, it was time to get cleaned up, then we hit up the mall for a little shopping. Dinner was suppose to be at Iggy's, but a transformer blew and they had no power. The girls decided pizza was their next option so off we went to Pizza Factory. No trip is ever complete without a stop at Nielsen's Frozen Custard. The kids did better at getting sleep before midnight as well. Sunday morning we got up and ready to hit the road for home. The girls did so much better than I expected them to. We were to Lehi before they started bugging each other. Savanna was an awesome big sister and kept both of her siblings entertained. With a stop In Riverton to drop off some of Rick's tools, we arrived just in time for dinner, thanks Aunt Audrey for the yummy brisket. Paige was excited to play with Addie and was sad when we had to leave. We arrived home just after 7:00 tired, but yet relaxed after our weekend in the sun.
