Halloween 2008
Savanna had a great time on Halloween this year. She got to dress up in her costume all day long and visit lots of fun friends and family. We went with Grandma and Grandpa Call down to cousin Parker and Ethan's school costume parade. It was fun to watch all of the elementary kids in their costumes, but of course Parker and Ethan were the most handsome Anikan Skywalker and Obi-One Kanobe. Loran and Bella were also there with mom and dad dressed as the most adorable fairies. We then headed over to Grandma Meyers' school to see her Savanna loves her Gramma Mary! We then went and surprised Aunt Celeste at work, and boy did Savanna rake in the candy at that stop. She was on a sugar high and then came home and took a good nap before getting ready to go Trick-or-Treating with her cousins Katelyn and Kenzie. I was in shock when the girls started to show me the candy that they got from just one house. We decided to take Savanna up to that house....after about a 30 minute wait in line to get to the front door, Savanna's bag was filled to the brim from the "Mofia Man". This guy spends almost $10,000.00 just on candy for Halloween. You will see in the picture a shelf behind him, well that was just one of many full of candy. He gives each child that comes to the door 8 big pieces of candy, it is unreal to see this guy in action. After that house, we took the girls around my brother's neighborhood and they loved every minute of it, even though it was raining. It was a good Halloween, and Savanna is already planning her costume for next year.
Steve and I met in December of 1997 while at the Missionary Training Center in Provo UT. We communicated through letters for two years and upon Steve's return home we began dating off and on. In September 2002 we began dating exclusively. By March 2003 we were engaged and later married in the Mt. Timpanoges Temple in July of 2003. We have two amazing and beautiful daughters Savanna and Paige and a handsome son Barrett. I have the opportunity to stay at home with them and watch them grow and develop their personalities. We are blessed to once again be around our family, but we miss all the wonderful friends we made over the 2 1/2 years we were in Washington.
